Little House on the Prairie, by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Historical ficition story of American pioneer life. The Ingalls family leaves Wisconsin and heads toward Wisconsin where they set up their house on the prairie and plant, plow, hunt and gather. Supplemental Activities

Explore the structures on many acres of the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum. It has over 100 different traditional buildings which have been transported from regions all over Switzerland. See houses of farmers, craftsmen and labourers, as well as industrial and crafting buildings which are still used for demonstrations.
